Cry   Well guys my piolot Extra 260 35% bit the dust the other day. The Engine was constantly running rich on the bottom end and the top was running lean . while taking off it dead sticked and stumbled and I came down smooth but all it took was the wheel pants to catch the grass and rip the landing gear off and destry the bottom end of the plane. Saving up for another it's quite disapointing to euin such a great flying plane.

Thanks , I'll have another coming in a couple of weeks. I just love flying the big ones . I hope I can get the new engine tuned where it wont diesel really bad .
If anoyone has had any experience with tuning in a new Da 100 let me know what the ran into that will help a lot. after three flights I had to tune it every flight and it kept running richer each time on the bottom and leaner on the top.

 Sorry about your Extra!!
But as a vulture, is there any remains that a rebuilder could deal with?
