Sunday - July 11th Q-25 race is still scheduled for tomorrow. I got a field condition report this evening and the road and field are in great shape. The Club had it mowed Thursday and it looks like all the rain is going to miss us.

I will post one last field condition report Sunday morning around 8:00 - 8:15 AM so everyone will have enough time to get to the races at Texas Wings Club Field. If you have any questions please call my cell# 817-899-0006.

See you at the races!

Just letting you know the race is a GO, mid 90's, 10-15 MPH winds from the South-Southwest, with 15-20% chance of afternoon showers. Just a normal day in Texas!

See you at the races.

July 11 - Sunday - Q-25 Pylon Series Race #4 at TxWings Club Field - Newark, TX.

Q-25 Pylon Series Race #4 at Texas Wings - (12) Pilots - (5) Clubs.

Congratulations to the winners: (1st) Blake Arnold - FW Thunderbirds, (2nd) Gary Alphin - FW Thunderbirds, & (3rd) Gene Hodges - TxWings.

Well, another one bites the dust. We had a nice turnout at Series Race #4 on a hot sunny day with 10 - 15 MPH crosswinds. A large number of spectators came out to support and enjoy the races. The action was interesting with a few close heat finishes and several rubbing issues towards the end of the day to entertain the crowd.

Special Thanks to all our pylon judges, volunteers, and race officials because without all of your help we would not get to race. Also, Thank You to Chef Virginia for the great hot dogs and concessions. Also, again Thank You to Darrell Barabash for all his time, work, and money spent designing our lap counting / cut system. His latest version worked flawlessly.

Hope to see you at our next race August 15, 2010 at FW Thunderbirds Club Field.
