IMAC is the International Miniature Aerobatic Club. Its members are very active within the Thunderbirds and can be seen almost every weather-friendly afternoon
practicing their routines at the field.
Their aircraft are scale models
of real airplanes. Their objective
is to fly strictly defined maneuvers
and to fly them with great
precision. Typically,
the models are
large, simply
because large
airplanes fly better.

The Thunderbirds
usually host
one event a year
and Rick Byrd, a
nationally known
aerobatic champion,
is the event director.
